Osteoarthritis following total or sub-total meniscectomy is very common and results in loss of patients’ ability to maintain an active lifestyle. Restoring the knee kinematics with an allograft meniscus transplant is an accepted method of protecting against the onset of osteoarthritis.
Each fresh frozen meniscal allograft is aseptically processed. These meniscal allografts come prepared with a precut bone block providing surgeons the option of their preferred transplantation technique. Each of these allografts is specifically matched to the unique patient through X-ray or MRI images using the Pollard Method or other established size matching techniques.
