Single Strand Tendon (Aseptic)

Surgical reconstruction of smaller joints can be achieved utilizing single strand tendons. Stabilization of the ankle, and reconstruction of the MPFL, ALL or AC joint are commonly performed using the strong, yet small diameter single strand tendon.

Available single strand tendons include:

  • Anterior tibialis (Diameter: 5mm-7mm (single) Length: 19cm-30cm)
  • Semitendinosus (Diameter: 4mm-6.5mm (single) Length: 19cm-24cm)
  • Gracilis (Diameter: 3.5mm-5mm (single) Length: 19cm-24cm)
