Patella Bone

Cartilage defects of the patella can be particularly challenging.  The patella bone allograft is used for resurfacing these cartilage defects with mature hyaline cartilage and bone. The patella can be matched with a Femoral Trochlea for bi-polar joint repairs.

As the largest provider of osteochondral allografts, JRF Ortho is uniquely able to offer timely and viable osteochondral allograft solutions for these challenging joint defects. Studies show that osteochondral allografts transplanted with viable chondrocytes have significant functional and clinical advantages.
