Double Strand Tendon (Aseptic)

Laxity in joints caused by ligament tears does not need to permanently restrict a patients’ activity. Whether in the ankle, knee or shoulder stabilization of joints can be regained by reconstructing torn ligaments with double strand tendons.  With a variety of lengths and diameters, double strand allograft tendons can be used to reconstruct cruciate ligaments in the knee and stabilize ankle and shoulder joints following traumatic tears.

Allograft Highlights

  • Allows for surgeon to select best fixation technique
  • Surgeons can predetermine diameter size of tunnels and graft length
  • Eliminates additional pain and surgical scars from autograft harvesting
  • Simplifies procedure versus autograft, potentially saving OR time and cost
