Bi-Compartment Allograft

The Bi-Compartment Allograft is used for resurfacing cartilage defects of the femoral trochlea and condyle with mature hyaline cartilage. This allograft allows for simultaneous restoration of cartilage surface in the femoral condyle and trochlea compartments.

Allograft Highlights

  • Using a bi-compartment allograft for trochlear lesions that expand into the lateral or medial anterior condyle
  • Great for defects that encompass part of the trochlea and onto the condyle.
  • These are great for procedures needing a trochlear centered plug plus one additional plug

Features and Benefits

  • Processed in an aseptic environment by highly trained processing technicians
  • After processing, the grafts are refrigerated in JRF Ortho’s unique nutrient media with antibiotic that has been shown to maintain cartilage viability during refrigerated storage
