Metatarsal Bone

The Metatarsal Allograft or alternately, a 10mm Precut Fresh OCA Core, can be used for resurfacing cartilage defects in the toe with mature hyaline cartilage. These cartilage grafts restore function and reduce pain, allowing patients to continue an active lifestyle.

Allograft Highlights

  • Humeral Head allografts can be radiographically size-matched to the individual patient
  • Talus allografts are readily available and can be substituted for Humeral Head allografts due to similar radius of curvature

Features and Benefits

  • Metatarsal allografts are available on special request and can radiographically size-matched to the individual patient if necessary
  • Processed in an aseptic environment by highly trained processing technicians
  • After processing, the grafts are refrigerated in JRF Ortho’s unique nutrient media with antibiotic that has been shown to maintain cartilage viability during refrigerated storage
