Patellar Tendon (Aseptic)

Nonsutured Aseptic Tendons

Patellar Tendon (Aseptic)

Patellar tendons are one of the most commonly used grafts for the reconstruction of cruciate ligaments. Its strong bone blocks allow surgeons to maximize biomechanical properties by optimizing bone to bone contact in the tunnels. Tendon allografts remain an excellent repair option for any tendon repair procedure where multiple reconstructions have failed or where tendon ruptures or tears are present.

Allograft Highlights

  • Eliminates additional pain and surgical scars from autograft harvesting
  • Simplifies procedure versus autograft, potentially saving OR time and cost
