Getting the Graft Thickness Right is Crucial for the Long-Term Success of an OCA

The MOCA group consensus states the ideal depth of a femoral Osteochondral Recipient site is between 6 - 10mm. In this study, the authors point out that surgeons need to be aware of the thickness of the plug during transplantation to avoid either cycstic formation (<5mm bony thickness) or delaying osseous integration (>9mm bony thickness).
