Which modality is most accurate in sizing meniscal allografts for transplant - A systematic review

Purpose: To review and compare various imaging techniques, such as radiography, MRI, and emerging three‑dimensional modalities, for accurate sizing of meniscal allografts in transplantation.

  • This review sought to determine the optimal imaging strategy and sizing method for meniscal allografts.
  • MRI demonstrated increased accuracy compared to radiographs. However, when radiographs are properly acquired, the modified Pollard and Yoon methods can achieve acceptable accuracy.
