As someone who is engaging and connects with others quickly, Kate Larson is great at building relationships and taking teams to another level.
She is a Colorado native and was born and raised on her family’s farming and ranching operation in Northeast Weld County. She grew up working alongside her parents but also found her love for the medical field from her mom who worked at North Colorado Medical Center.
Kate’s love for sports, especially basketball, led her to play at West Texas A&M, where she received her first degree in Biochemistry. Upon returning to Colorado, she pursued a second degree in Microbiology and worked in research at the Colorado State Equine Orthopedic Research Center finding a passion for orthopedics and biological joint interventions. Having a huge passion for the medical field, Kate Larson brings decades of experience in the medical industry to JRF Ortho.
Kate is married to Luke and together they have two boys who are growing up to be accomplished young cowboys. As a family they raise cattle and horses, ski, hike and can be found outside most of the time.
