Allograft Coordinator I

Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the JRF Supervisor/Manager, the Allograft Service Coordinator I (ASC I) is responsible for processing and coordinating allograft orders by working with surgeons and their staff, sales representatives and hospital personnel.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

  1. Receive and process allograft orders
  2. Size patient films with supervision
  3. Answer phones
  4. Coordinate shipment of allografts
  5. Provide all customer service needs for assigned territory
  6. Enter Fresh graft orders into Epicor
  7. Adhere to and promote proper practices and techniques which are consistent with current operating procedures, training requirements, safety practices and company policies. 

Education/ Formal Training Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in biology, or anatomy related degree
  • In lieu of degree, High School Diploma and 2 years’ experience in Tissue Bank Processing or Health Care Related Customer Service

Job and Industry Experience Required:

  • 1 year of Customer Service, Sales or Marketing Experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook

Job and Industry Experience Preferred:

  • Experience in production, manufacturing or operations in biomedical/bioscience industry
  • Experience with tissue banking
  • Experience in healthcare environment such as a doctor’s office or hospital
  • Experience working with Standard Operating Procedures
